My professional goals include learning data science, and building my skills as an educator so that I can help to create the next generation of web developers.I'm a life-long learner who also enjoys working on interesting projects with talented people in the fields of data science, web development, software development and game development.I began programming as a hobby at age 10, and have studied, taught and worked in development ever since, including 15 years as an I.T. teacher and tutor at a TAFE institute, freelance web development, and recent commercial experience in web development roles. I can offer decades of knowledge, skills and experience in software/web development, general I.T. skills and teaching skills, and would make a valuable addition to any teaching or development team.My key areas of knowledge and experience include software engineering, web development, games development, network support, systems administration, database development, and Microsoft Office. I also have over 15 years of experience as an I.T. teacher at a TAFE institute and private education provider in all of the above areas.
