Focused on solving problems and developing compelling communications, evocative brands, and effective strategies, Matt's passion for responsible practices has lead him to directing sustainability communications for Falk Harrison. Matt provides solutions and solves communications problems for clients in wide-ranging fields: biomedical, chemical, energy (oil and gas), education, entertainment and recreation, food and entertainment, financial, healthcare, legal, manufacturing, marketing, plastics, the public sector, recruiting, retail, telecommunications, transportation and non-profit agencies. Matt’s work has been recognized regionally and nationally, he has lectured on design and the communications industry, and he has served on judging panels and advisory roles regionally.Specializing in design and communications for his entire career, Matt joined Falk Harrison full-time at the start of 1993 as an associate designer, and was an integral part of ushering computer-aided design in to Falk Harrison.Prior to joining Falk Harrison, Matt studied art, psychology and anthropology at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. While in school, Matt started his career as a freelance designer and an apprentice to noted sculptor, Stanton Sears, and supported projects such as the Minnesota Vietnam Veterans Memorial and other public art installations.Matt contributes to his community through local outreach programs, volunteers his time, and serves a number of friends, clients and worthy organizations on a pro-bono basis. Curiously addicted to being outdoors, Matt is an avid sailor, camper and hiker. He likes fine food, is (not-so-secretly) addicted to cooking shows, and can usually be found in pursuit of the perfect cup of coffee. A St. Louis native, Matt resides in Clayton, MO, with his family.
