The Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship (CIE) Scholars program is designed for a select group of MBAs at Oklahoma State University (OSU). This program has two main purposes on the OSU campus. First, to work with high tech campus innovations. My team wrote the business plan for an Electrical Engineering professor's high tech invention. After finishing the business plan we went to business plan competitions and capital conferences in hopes to find start-up capital to take this product to commercialization. Second, the CIE Scholars purpose is to promote Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneruship accross the OSU campus. During the Spring of 2010 we held the Creativity Festival for the Oklahoma Creativity Initiative at OSU.

While working on my MBA at Oklahoma State University I also worked for NAPA Auto Parts. The owner has five NAPA Auto Parts store locations around the Stillwater area. I was hired to take on business development projects that help the company look past the day-to-day operations.

The OSU Cowboys Bootcamp is a pragmatic program for Oklahomans seriously interested in launching their own ventures and those in the early stages of start-up. The program occurs over six consecutive Saturday mornings. It features award-winning faculty, highly successful entrepreneurs, and a number of subject matter experts. I worked as a consultant for the entrepreneurs attending the bootcamp. One part of their program was a slotted time to interact with a handful of consultants to talk about where they are at in the new venture process.

Worked with historically disadvantaged entrepreneurs in the townships of South Africa. My team (Ubuntu Consulting) used the SEE Model to analyze and implement crucial changes to the strategic plan of two different businesses, a book supplier and a transport company. We were able to implement 5 - 6 deliverables per client.
