A decision to terminate the business was made one year later due to an ethical conflict of interest with the professional services to be provided, versus the Tennessee state laws written in regard to home inspection services. Currently, Tennessee Senate Bill 1504 and Tennessee House Bill 1517 are under review for vote, which will clarify statutory requirements for licensed architects and engineers to include services within their areas of competence, including services such as home inspections.
