As a Senior Project Manager, I supervise cross-functional teams of 2-6 technicians and PMs for wide variety of complex source emission testing programs. I also establish project testing schedules and delegate technicians’ roles and responsibilities. I train new operators and technical writers on FTIR operation and analysis, maintain detailed chain of custody records for laboratory samples, and thoroughly examine and analyze state and federal permits to determine scope of testing.

Greater Denver Area

As a Macroinvertebrate Specialist, I recovered and identified aquatic invertebrates in water samples from around the country. I also worked with the aquatic research team on fishery recovery projects to preserve local fish populations.

Fort Collins, Colorado Area

As a Fisheries Technician with the Colorado Division of Wildlife (now Colorado Parks and Wildlife), I collected fishery population data, habitat information, and water samples with teams of conservation and fisheries biologists. I chemically analyzed water samples. I developed an Access database to house data, and utilized ARC GIS software to analyze and map Division of Wildlife test locations throughout Colorado.

Greater Los Angeles Area

As a Fisheries Technician, I worked independently at marinas across southern California in cooperation with the CA Dept. of Fish and Game (DFG) to identify, observe, and record data on fishing boats for a fishing effort study. Concurrently, I recruited anglers for a logbook survey and recorded data in CA DFG database.
