At SHI, my primary mission as the overall marketing leader has been to build a strong marketing organization capable of partnering with our sales teams and supporting ambitious revenue growth goals in difficult economic conditions.To do this, I have consolidated multiple disparate marketing teams into a single unified 140-strong marketing function incorporating Growth, Product Marketing, Events, Partner Marketing, Creative Services and Marketing Operations. This team supports the needs of eight sales divisions, 17,000 current customers, and hundreds of software and hardware vendor partners with multi-channel marketing programs that improve customer retention, increase share of wallet, and create new account opportunities.
