Built on ArcGIS Server, DTN has created a unique data services offering that allows ESRI uers to easily include over 140 different weather data services in their maps and applications.While ESRI users have will enjoy the most ease of use, DTN's data services hosted on ArcGIS Server provide easy-to-consume weather data that can be used in any mapping application by requesting data from a well-known REST API.

Matt focuses on WDT's most technical customers specifically in regards to GIS services and other data services/APIs under WDT's SkyWise brand. Matt helps customer across many industries integrate weather data services into their applications via off-the-shelf APIs and custom weather data solutions. With years of experience serving customers in the insurance and energy industries, Matt empowers customers to leverage weather data to create actionable analytics and maintain situational awareness for the protections and safety of assets and employees. Additionally, Matt utilizes ESRI software and services to provide unique, value-added weather data via ArcGIS Server Map Services to GIS developers allowing them to enhance their applications with premium weather content.

Matt manages a variety of software development projects at WDT from start to finish most frequently serving the insurance, agriculture, and energy industries. Matt has experience working with customers to define their requirements and works with software developers to create the optimal software solution for each customer's unique needs.Matt has managed the development and release of multiple versions of WDT's e-commerce site, www.weatherforensics.com (now benchmarkapps.veriskclimate.com), which serves the complex needs of insurance adjusters and restoration companies to help identify severe weather events related to the cause of a loss or mapping areas exposed to potentially damaging weather events.Also serving the insurance and restoration industries, Matt has overseen, and continues to manage, the continued development of a hail detection algorithm for for the US using data from the WSR-88D radar network.Matt has been the project manager for the development of multiple versions of WDT's forensic/historical weather APIs that have been consumed both by WDT and customers external to WDT. These geospatial APIs allow end-users to generate a large volume of requests against WDT's weather event databases for easy integration into a customer's application. Matt has a strong GIS background and has worked with customers and engineers to develop map services and feature services focused on the unique meteorological data sets that WDT maintains and generates. Matt has worked with a variety of different customers to provide GIS data services for their particular needs in the insurance, agriculture, and energy industries.In addition to project management, Matt has business development experience revolving around the development and integration of meteorological data and software into customers' existing software systems and workflow.
