For 15 years I sold my soul to the corporate lifestyle. I missed birthday parties, family events, holidays, funerals, anniversaries…I was missing out on life. I didn’t have a Thanksgiving with my family for 10 years.With having little to no boundaries at work, I burned myself out to the point I had to go on medical leave with several complicated health issues. By 2015 I had left a six-figure job, was on disability in a single income family, had a brand new house, all while raising toddler.Fear ruled my life. All I wanted to do was find a way out and start my own business so I could serve others and be more present in my life with friends, family, faith, and my community.The timeless fears and excuses I allowed to paralyze me:✅ I don’t have enough time✅ I don’t have enough moneyInstead of giving up, I reconnected with my values.
