Matt Geise joined the executive team at SUHRCO Residential Properties, LLC (SUHRCO) as Senior Regional Manager. Matt’s knowledge allows SUHRCO to use his expertise in a variety of areas, including Community Association Management, Multifamily Management, brokering, consulting and leasing.

Phillips Real Estate Services is a full service property management company with three main groups, the Multi-Family Group, Community Association Group and the Residential Group. Executive Director of Multifamily Properties, Partner Oversee and manage the Multifamily Division, comprised of over 130 apartment properties, 3700 units, 11 employees and 260 site staff, recognized for highest grossing division. Prepare and compile reports describing leasing activity, budgets, cash flow, financials and overall goal completion. Value and sell multifamily and commercial properties, having sold over $26 million dollars in multifamily property. Provide consulting and advisory services to private real estate investors.  Obtain new management, leasing and brokerage accounts.  Court appointed Receiver turning around distressed assets for banks, $29 million in condo sellouts and 14 projects. Develop and implement new systems, such as software and a marketing database.

I worked as a sales agent specializing in pricing and selling apartment buildings in the greater Seattle area. After working for less than a year I realized that I needed a broader base to work in real estate and not only focused on sales. The training that I received in that year specifically has given me a real advantage when I do broker apartment buildings.

Accomplishments: Rehabbed 1910 warehouse in Belltown into modern loft apartments.  Managed a Condo conversion and achieved $8.2 Million in sales.  Negotiated over $4 Million in commercial and residential leases. Maintained less than 5% average vacancy on 107,000 square feet of commercial space for a 6 year period. Won a $40 Thousand dollar judgment from a tenant who defaulted on a commercial lease.Description of responsibilities: Served as main contact person and property manager for business operations. Managed relationships with contractors, architects, lawyers, accountants, tenants and property owners. Prepared and compiled reports on each project, including schedules, budgets, cash flows, financials and goal completion reports. Organized and directed quarterly and annual owner meetings.
