At 3terra we offer Ember Healthcare, an interconnected suite of software tools designed to address key decision support issues in Ontario hospitals. The Ember Healthcare platform includes components to support performance management, benchmarking, and patient/visit interaction analysis. We recently introduced Data Quality Assist, our inpatient data quality module which uses advanced algorithms to detect potential errors in coded inpatient (DAD) records that lead to decreased HIG weight, resulting in lowered HBAM and QBP funding.I have spent my career helping Ontario hospitals of varying sizes transform their analytical capabilities to meet the challenge of managing large volumes of disconnected data under tight budget constraints. Healthcare funding changes have narrowed my focus further, to help hospitals make more informed decisions within the new world of Health System Funding Reform (HSFR) through their data.
