Vital role in the production of the Management Accounts for Fittleworth Medical Ltd, the UK group's largest business unit, with a projected 2014 turnover of over £70m.Monthly accruals & prepayments calculations for Rent, Service Charges, Insurance & Business Rates for 35 properties of Fittleworth. Monthly prepayment calculations for over 40 3-year leased vehicles and accruals for short term lease cars. Completion to strict deadlines of monthly P&L & Balance Sheet reconciliations.Management and development of a team of 5 Accounts Payable and Expenses Administrators.Implemented a new process for stock to invoice matching using a GR/IR balance sheet clearing account, to enable more accurate calculation of Cost of Goods Sold. Monthly reconciliation of this GR/IR account. Electronic calculation and processing of price variances on matched GRN’s from the 2 intercompany suppliers, Dansac & Hollister. Generating from this, payment runs to these suppliers.Established many AP process efficiencies in order to generate better ownership of work and enhanced KPI reporting. This enabled monthly invoice processing to increase by 70% over 4 years, with just a 33% increase in team members.Project managed out the UK implementation of MasterCard Smart Data, a new online expense management program. Including distribution of new cards and training for each cardholder. Also assisted with similar rollouts and set up SAP upload processes in many other EMEA locations.With an excellent relationship with Bank of America, I have established a process whereby suppliers are paid by Card, using "In Control" a MasterCard provided website which enables unique virtual credit card payments to be made with excellent fraud prevention tools built in. This has seen the annual spend on our credit card program increase from £2.3m in 2009 to a projected £9m for 2014, nearly a 300% rise, bringing in an estimated £55k in rebate for 2014, compared to £14k for 2010.
