Lead Embedded Firmware designer for the 2015 and 2016 NASA Centennial Sample Return Robot Challenge. Final product included Soft Real-time firmware which managed up to eight Inertial Measurement Units and reported up to 6500 samples per second via redundant ethernet and serial communication lines. The system made up the entire inertial navigation interface system for the WVU Cataglyphis Rover that competed in the NASA Centennial Sample Return Robot Challenge.Other tasks include writing ROS node communication drivers with various devices via Serial over USB and standard Serial communication with both blocking and non-blocking threads. A GUI was created for initialization and remote navigation updates of the robot during competition timeouts.

Lead Embedded Firmware Engineer for the Undergraduate Sounding Rocket Instrumentation Project (USIP)The embedded system controlled and recorded results from five individual plasma physics experiments, and record flight dynamics data. Working in a team of 5, developed and demonstrated a Computer Vision test bed. This test bed is now used by NASA IV&V to perform independent validation and verification on computer vision algorithms and solutions for space vehicles. This project was then presented to the facility, at NASA Godard, and NASA Headquarters.

Using the 3D modeling and animation tool, Blender, and python, worked in a team of 4 to create an interactive mission simulation of the future NASA mission, O-SIRIS Rex. This project was then presented to the facility, and NASA Headquarters.
