I have a unique education and career path that has juxtaposed the worlds of hospitality and technology which often overlap. Having started my education in the hospitality world afforded me the opportunity to develop strong teamwork, people and leadership skills that when matched with my technical abilities have made me a more versatile role model, team leader, peer and individual contributor.While at The School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University I gained experience working in restaurants and hotels while also working in roles that challenged my technical side. I worked as a teaching assistant for technical classes in the Hotel School, as a software developer for HVS/Professor Jan DeRoos and also as a developer for Assistant Real Estate Professor, Walter Boudry developing financial models in Excel while also taking CS and IS classes in pursuit of my MPS in Information Science where I focused my studies around mental health and technology.Professionally, I've been lucky enough to take on roles within the Cloud world that have and continue to challenge me to solves tomorrows problems with today's technologies but I do that with my underlying passion for hospitality and overall attitude of service.
