Operating for over 50 years BLNG is one of the world’s longest operating LNG plants. I established a new Front End Project department of 9, developing the skills of existing staff and recruiting and training new staff, and implemented effective processes and procedures to effectively Identify, Assess and Select value maximising opportunities to execution. Inspired a can-do attitude in the team with flexibility to support execution and handover in addition to front end.Notable accomplishments include:• Project Manager for completion, commissioning, and handover of $100m BOG compressor, focused on delivering Goal zero HSSE.• FEDM for Identify and Assess Stages of $250m brownfield plant debottlenecking project to accept additional CA2 Lean Gas• FEDM for number of front-end brownfield asset integrity projects, delivering to DG3, including, Jetty upgrade, Boiler Feed water upgrade, and Fire water replacement. • Responsible for the commissioning and handover of Instrument Air and Nitrogen package projects • Coordinated with the Project Delivery teams and other parties to develop preliminary contracting and procurement strategies for the assigned projects to facilitate effective contract management and cost-effective execution.• Passionate and visible leader of HSSE, developing and monitoring leading and lagging KPIs to strive for Goal Zero.

KPO has a joint operatorship with Shell and ENI in a complex joint venture with Chevron, Lukoil and KMG to develop Karachaganak, one of the world’s largest gas and condensate fields. With Ultra High Pressure and High H2S, its development has significant technical and environmental challenges. The partners and government had differing goals and business objectives, and trust was low. I updated the Field Development Plan incorporating often conflicting stakeholder requirements. By careful stakeholder engagement, and interfacing across business responding quickly and effectively to stakeholder queries, my FDP was approved by all parties and implemented, building trust across the venture.My notable accomplishments include:• Designed and implemented ‘Scalable’ Internal independent Value Assurance for full programme of KPO projects through whole Project Lifecycle, from Identify to commissioning and Start-up. Enabled effective decision making, providing appropriate assurance across full TECOP risk spectrum.• Organised and facilitated CSAP and CSRA reviews for $500m 4ICP and $750m KGDBN projects to endorse cost and schedule methodologies, and quantify risk and contingency.• Developed the front end contracting and procurement strategy for the Caustic Neutralisation Unit replacement by defining a functional specification to delivering a Vendor designed solution with 40% cost reduction. • Facilitated effective project risk assessments, identifying, assessing and mitigating cross functional risks associated with implementing value promises.• Led cross functional pre-start-up reviews to verify commissioning and start-up plans, and to ensure readiness for effective operation.• Led post investment review of operating project to demonstrate promised value had been delivered, and lessons learnt.• Designed and implemented novel cloud based Project Assurance action tracking database allowing shared cross company partner approval, accelerating action closure by 80%

Under BG, QGC delivered the world’s first LNG plant from Coal Seam Gas. I was FEDM for wellsites and gathering for upstream, delivering optimised design from wellbore to compression of >2000 wells and >40,000km of gas and water gathering pipelines. • Optimised wellsite design using competitive scoping techniques, skid modulization, and supply chain rationalisation. Reduced costs by >50% and hook-up time by >30%. • Responsible for brownfield engineering for designing and implementing modifications to wellsite and gathering infrastructure responding to operating challenges.• Delivered new wellsite skid package for QCLNG specifically designed from start to reduce construction time and reduce cost. Involved focused input from construction experts in initial design phase to "build construction flexibility in".• Challenged inappropriate standard application by rigorous process safety risk assessment and negotiation with Discipline Heads to reduce costs by >20%• Delivered PSiD Verification, Safety case, Performance Standards, SCE Asset Integrity and its verification, for upstream facilities.

A complex joint venture between Partners (Shell, Exxon, Total, ENI, KMT etc.) with conflicting interests and objectives, to develop the huge complex Kashagan field. I was responsible for reporting to and engaging partners to embed global best practice in AKCO and to gain trust and investment support from Partners. • Facilitated the complex relationships between AKCO, the partners and government stakeholders to maintaining AKCO’s interests and ensuring the early and effective start-up of Kashagan production before handover to Shell. • Responded to partner and government questions on project decision making, status and progress, covering subjects from reservoir engineering to environmental permitting.• Managed Change and Interfaces for On and Offshore development.
