Co-founded Tailored.to, a personal shopping assistant. We created this tech to eradicate boring product research from our lives by harnessing the wisdom of the web and advanced decision making tools to make it easy to find and buy the perfect product matched to your needs, in minutes. (Product demo below).As a founder my role was broad. Effectively operating as CEO, I led the team, rigorously reviewing strategic decisions and prioritising opportunities. In collaboration with the CTO we ensured the development strategy was delivered on schedule and iterated in synergy with the current business needs. I blueprinted the decision engine that powered results and led our data strategy and category development team. Partnership prospecting and the resultant deal negotiation also fell within my remit. Additionally I covered the financial, general ops, privacy, compliance and investor relations tasks. Tailored delivered 5% single session sales conversion and an unprompted 30% user return rate, which significantly exceeded category norms. Tailored also made money by boosting publisher partner yields by at least 50% through combined audience data sales, ecommerce and brand partnerships. Our ad format interaction rate was 3-10%. A huge 300%+ increase vs the best ad format performance on the market. VC backed: Investors included Amadeus and Ascension Ventures.

Worked with LinkedIn’s EMEA marketing solutions team on a full time secondment basis, to help refocus their product offer and go to market strategies within the region.Devised and completed an Agency partner research audit with EMEA & UK digital, social and comms planning influencers, to pinpoint LinkedIn’s market perception and identify missed opportunities.Refocused the go to market story to create a more salient and engaging proposition for brand and established a new collateral implementation framework for Marketing Solutions.To change perceptions of LinkedIn from 'just a job site' to a powerful peer to peer networking platform amongst Media Agencies we created the Make Your Own Luck Campaign which combined gamification with some sage advice and stories. We got 60% of the staff in the top 10 London Media Agencies playing to win the title of most connected Agency in London.

Conceptulised and launched a contemporary ecommerce furniture company that encapsulated key consumer desires for personalisation, the opportunity to move beyond flat pack and renewable manufacturing.Mandala’s unique, flexible model used innovative web based design tools and utilised a lean production system based in Asia to make high quality customised pieces available at competitive prices. This approach meant 80% of our stock was pre-sold creating huge supply chain and cash flow efficiencies.Our unique product proposition led to early trading success with annual sales growth of 2-300% prior to the global recession of 2009 decimating the sector and unfortunately us too!

Launched Klondike as a JV with the dynamic St Luke’s creative agency. Klondike was one of the first of a new wave of media strategy specialists and advertising to integrate digital media thinking into traditional advertising and experiential planning. We created innovative marketing concepts that leveraged the potential of emergent digital tech, to create ideas that were often fun and always effective. Within 12 months the client roster included Sky.com, Telia mobile, Travelocity.com, Emirates, Saab and Coca Cola.

Asked to join M&C Saatchi as the third member of the Singapore launch team. Part of the leadership team that converted 70% of the business we pitched for, and grew the agency to a team of 60 people within four years.Developed and managed a regional partner network in addition to strategic brand and media planning across the growing account portfolio.

Recruited from London to work alongside the creative teams and planners to deliver more involving and exciting integrated communication solutions. Oversaw the agency's media operations in Vietnam and led the communications planning activity for accounts on a regional basis.Led the team that won the Procter and Gamble media centralisation for Singapore.

Initially worked on the relaunch of Nissan in the UK. Worked on brands with annual budgets fm £27m (Nissan) to £250k (Absolut Vodka) and pretty much everything in between.Won industry awards for planning excellence on Nissan, Absolut and Wonderbra.
