We created this tech to eradicate boring product research from our lives by harnessing the wisdom of the web and advanced decision making tools to make it easy to find and buy the perfect product matched to your needs, in minutes. (Product demo below).As a founder my role was broad. Effectively operating as CEO, I led the team, rigorously reviewing strategic decisions and prioritising opportunities. In collaboration with the CTO we ensured the development strategy was delivered on schedule and iterated in synergy with the current business needs. I blueprinted the decision engine that powered results and led our data strategy and category development team. Partnership prospecting and the resultant deal negotiation also fell within my remit. Additionally I covered the financial, general ops, privacy, compliance and investor relations tasks. Tailored delivered 5% single session sales conversion and an unprompted 30% user return rate, which significantly exceeded category norms. Tailored also made money by boosting publisher partner yields by at least 50% through combined audience data sales, ecommerce and brand partnerships. Our ad format interaction rate was 3-10%. A huge 300%+ increase vs the best ad format performance on the market. VC backed: Investors included Amadeus and Ascension Ventures. -
