• Mr. Harnett is a founding Partner of Tecum Capital Partners, which manages committed capital across debt and equity funds including a $175 million SBIC fund (vintage 2013), a $265 million SBIC fund (vintage 2017), and a $300 million SBIC fund (vintage 2021), and manages equity investments across family-offices seeking private equity and debt investments. • Focuses on mezzanine debt and private equity investments in the lower middle-market. • Mr. Harnett serves on the firm’s Investment Committee and is responsible for leading all aspects of transaction origination, analysis, structuring, negotiating, underwriting, deal execution and monitoring of subject private equity and mezzanine debt investments.• Conducts credit analysis and conducts due diligence which includes economic, industry, competitor and company research. He builds various financial models to demonstrate potential financial structures.• Writes investment memorandums. Analyzes and approves investment opportunities alongside the Investment Committee team.• Mr. Harnett has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to originate and close proprietary and represented investment opportunities. • Mr. Harnett structures and negotiates investment solutions for the purchases, sales, acquisitions, mergers, and the management / leveraged buyouts. • He has experience in working with other lenders, investors, stakeholders, and attorneys to close investments.• Mr. Harnett has built a vast M&A network for sourcing deals and capital in the lower middle-market• Experience sitting on portfolio company boards and works with management to professionalize and instill best practicesLeveraged buyouts, independent sponsor, family office, valuation, mezzanine debt, subordinated notes, warrants, IRR, mergers, M&A, acquisitions, management buyouts, recapitalizations, growth capital, company analysis, P&L, financial modeling, DCF analysis, intergenerational transitions, and/or ownership transitions.
