As the Vice President of Academic Solutions at ScholarRx for the past 8 years, I have been instrumental in bringing high-quality, scalable, and accessible medical education resources to address the rising costs and growing pressures on teaching faculty globally. Prior to this, I held key leadership roles at Vearsa, LibreDigital/RR Donnelley, CourseSmart, Ingram Digital Group, and VitalSource, where I led teams and managed strategic relationships with educational publishing institutions. My expertise lies in sales, marketing, and business development, and I am passionate about creating sustainable and equitable health science education solutions for institutions worldwide.

Led technical sales marketing teams pipeline development related to business analytics and digital content distribution services.

Led LibreDigital’s technical sales team tasked with securing and managing new business in the digital content services market. Services included an enterprise level digital asset management and distribution platform, eBook fulfillment systems, and digital content and metadata creation service.

Responsible for institutional and enterprise sales of digital learning platform and etextbooks to higher education and academic institutions.

Created and managed the original Ingram Digital international sales team, including recruiting, training, developing and successfully executing new strategic growth plans. Managed the ongoing international business development team focused on institutions and clients in trade, education and professional publishing with responsibility for $25 million in annual revenue.• As an early member of the VitalSource start-up, played a key role in the company’s growth and eventual successful acquisition and transition to Ingram Industries.• Personally responsible for successfully contracting access to publisher content, and contracting many of the initial educational institution clients.

Co-founded and managed all aspects of this medical education publishing start-up, relying on strong publishing sales and editorial experience. Eventually oversaw the successful formation of VitalSource’s initial eBook catalogue from Fence Creek’s title list.
