Responsible for building and managing vendor relationships with companies that supply products and services to LTCG. Works to ensure that vendors meet or exceed their contractual obligations by delivering quality products and services on time. - Strategize and Plan: Define the structure, roles/responsibilities and resources to put a formal vendor management discipline in place and drive the right behaviors (product or service elements) to IT or business outcomes for all the collective third-party relationships. - Develop Governance: Establish an optimal process for making decisions and assigning decision rights related to vendor management. Agree on authority and flow for decision making. Implement and set up feedback mechanisms. - Execute: Ensure optimal management of the vendor contract life cycle and the commercial parts of the vendor relationship. Must be able to design and develop the RFIs, RFPs and provide a comparable assessment to business stakeholders for new and ongoing outsourcing activities. - Controls and Compliance: Ensure controls over vendors regarding information security, protection of personal data, disaster recovery, etc. are in place and audited for compliance on a periodic basis. Ensure contractual agreements with each vendor are best practice and align with LTCG's client contractual agreements. - Measure and Improve: Use industry data to track vendor management operations and success. Responsibilities include managing and improving vendor performance, and monitoring and mitigating vendor risks. Evaluate and monitor contracts to ensure vendors comply with contractual terms and conditions. - Relationship Management and Communication: Develop effective relationships with external partners to ensure continued service delivery and customer satisfaction. Must be able to negotiate and collaborate with vendors at many different levels and be the central point of contact on issues that arise in the relationship.
