• Planned, designed, and implemented features for an internal tool that improved the speed and scope of testing for our user-facing applications.• Implemented features and improved functional test coverage for a core API supporting multiple applications.

•Developed and maintained a React component library used for both forward development and transitioning from Ember to React in our current frontend platform. These components are highly reusable and generic, which has allowed other teams to use these components in their own projects. This has led to a decrease in development time for new features across the organization, and a more cohesive product look and feel.•Created complex layouts and interactions with modular React for our educational course customization solution, and connected these interactions through a Node api to our MongoDB course database.• Developed and implemented a solution for using React components in Ember, allowing us to gradually transition our platform frontend from Ember to React. This has empowered us to ship new features faster through utilizing both our engineers’ React expertise and React’s inherently faster development process. It has also allowed us to move towards our goal of replacing our platform’s frontend with React in an iterative way, without pulling entire teams off of feature work to accomplish this.• Worked with a small team to create an internal tool, utilizing React and Typescript, allowing educational content creators to deploy SCORM content directly to our platform. This removed the need for developer support in this process, freeing up significant development resources.• Automated previously manual deployment process for training courses. Reducing real time to deploy from ~3 days to less than a half hour, and reducing developer effort from hours to seconds.
