Promoted less than a year after transitioning from a legal role to a business role. Took on responsibility for Internal Communications in addition to continuing to play a lead role in strategy development. Highlights included playing a central role in the 2019 acquisition of Reverb, overseeing Etsy's Senior Leadership Team, and running our CEO's monthly metrics meetings.

Transitioned from Legal to a newly created role in Etsy's People, Strategy & Services org. Highlights included leading the development of Etsy's first-ever Long-term Company Strategy, overseeing the company-wide engagement survey and developing and implementing an action plan to address key focus areas, and overhauling Etsy's competency matrix to better align our performance management and rewards programs to the behaviors needed to reignite the company's growth.

Served as the primary counsel advising on product development, marketing and commercial partnerships; negotiated a wide variety of commercial agreements including master services agreements, cloud computing licenses, and commercial leases; also advised Etsy's HR, real estate, and operations teams.

Led new product development, built the lawyer network, and provided legal counsel for a legal services marketplace for startups and small businesses.

Led strategy and business development at center for social entrepreneurship and innovation and provided business consulting and investment advisory services to early-stage social enterprises.

Served as the lead associate on a wide range of corporate transactions, including bank financings, leveraged finance transactions, securities offerings, and real estate developments.

Worked directly with the head of the Audit Practice on the investigation of a former Fortune 500 supermarket chain.
