Currently lead and manage a team of software and firmware engineers in the development of control software for high energy lasers and their subsystems.

Assisted the P&T team with validating LEO and GEO tracking algorithms for an electronically steerable antenna.

Lead Electronics Engineer responsible for the delivery of all electronics, interconnects, software, and documentation used in high energy laser systems and subsystems. Involved working in cross-disciplinary teams to design, schedule, estimate cost of, develop, integrate, and test system’s electronic hardware, software, and firmware.

Supported multiple 3-axis camera stabilization platforms including the MoVI Pro, MoVI XL, and MoVI Cinema Robot by developing and debugging firmware for STM32 microcontrollers in C, developing desktop applications in C# and VB .NET, and designing embedded hardware.

Designed, developed, tested, maintained and documented software programs in C for PIC24 & PIC32 microcontrollers used in custom hardware platforms to verify application specific integrated circuits (ASICs).Wrote countless graphical user interfaces for Windows and Android in Java. Many programs were used to interface with embedded hardware, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and electronic test equipment over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), RS-232, Ethernet, and USB. Other applications were used for in-house data collection and analysis.

Maintained and repaired shipboard communication, RADAR, and computer systems using: technical manuals, system diagrams, analog/digital circuit schematics, a wide array of electronic test equipment, and formally trained soldering techniques.
