Responsible Nyrstar's transactional and strategic hedging, both strategy and execution (Base metals, Precious Metals and FX Options). Additional duties included:- Daily commodity and macroeconomic commentary- Structured Trade Finance deal execution (e.g. silver prepay)- Bank/Broker relationships and negotiation of ISDA/ToBs- Derivatives and Hedging training for commercial, finance and operations

Responsible for the global soft commodities and base metals portfolios, creating and executing trading strategies using swaps, futures and options. Identifying commodity exposures to the business and developing the category so that derivatives can be used to manage the risk.

Cocoa: • Managing the European cocoa butter, liquor and powder supply, negotiating physical contracts for 34 factories.Sugar:• Hedging Nestle’s Asian and Pacific sugar exposure using futures and OTC's
