-Responsible for deconstructing manual client assays and translating detailed methods onto automated platforms, marrying maximal throughput with data reproducibility. This includes assay development for high throughput screening of protein-protein interaction studies, kinase assays, and DNA-encoded libraries, with various endpoint readouts. -Design and execute antibiotic-free cell based assays including combinatorial (synergy) screens with weeks-long incubation times to showcase automated, sterile, workcells. -Integrate and qualify instruments onto automated platforms governed by various schedulers including Green Button Go, niceLAB, Tempo, and SCLE (Strateos proprietary). -Frequently maintain and optimize a wide array of automated and offline instrumentation including liquid handlers (acoustic transfer, pneumatic, and peristaltic), plate readers, incubators/carousels, robotic arms, and sealers/peelers. -Analyze and troubleshoot data from medium to high throughput screens while identifying erroneous trends and determining root causes.-Manage teams and train scientists on appropriate instrument and scheduler usage.

Operated and maintained an automated screening platform (governed by Green Button Go) leveraged by multiple labs for small molecule screening against a wide array of disease states. Instrumentation included an acoustic transfer system (ATS), MolecularDevices high content imaging system, Beckman Biomek FX liquid handling workstation, and ThermoFisher automated incubators. Performed QC and troubleshooting of offline systems including GNF Washer/Disperser II, BioTek 405 TS, and PerkinElmer Envision plate reader.
