Growing up with a strong construction background in my family, I have always envisioned the opportunity to direct the course of construction and utilize team work in order to fulfill a common goal. I have been given the opportunity to submit accurate bids for future jobs, manage and coordinate with the construction team (owners, architects, engineers, construction managers, etc), and coordinate with field staff. I inform the project team the status of the job and seek clarity when needed. I take on coordinating with field staff throughout the span of multiple projects. This involves being technical in my decision making, working in a timely manner and having a solution oriented mentality.My job is to ensure that the consistency of the project is thorough and accurate. I schedule accordingly with subcontractors/vendors on a daily basis. I am responsible for handling procurement and expediting of materials, and reporting project status via the Procore platform. My field responsibilities consist of implementing all safety programs, supervising field installations of the project throughout the course of construction, self-performing field construction where need be, and ensuring timeliness of the project completion. It is my responsibility to keep the requirements and needs of the job afloat. An additional role I take on is being the Qualified Storm Practitioner (QSP). This involves handling daily SWPPP(Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan) inspections of the job site and confirming we are SWPPP compliant, generating weekly reports and all storm events, sampling the PH and turbidity of the water content on site following a storm event, and reporting this all back to the water board at the end of the rainy season. Adebt with all Microsoft 360 platforms and proficient with using Procore. I also have an intermediate understanding of the coding languages Python and R. I take great pride in my work ethic and willingness to do what it takes in order to complete the job with ultimate quality. I look forward to continuously refining my skills and progressing my career.
