Primarily responsible for all aspects of taxation, including, but not limited to federal and state income tax compliance; tax accounting and financial reporting; tax strategy and planning; diligence and potential M&A analysis; tax research and litigation. Additionally, responsible for strategy, planning, analysis and litigation surrounding any and all mineral royalty and ad valorum compliance and valuation matters. Significant experience in managing internal personnel and outside tax advisors.

Primary responsibilities included; establishing, maintaining and updating all corporate tax policies and procedures; federal, state, local and international compliance; tax analysis and impact analysis of business activities; and proactively seeking tax and cash benefits from various state and federal incentive programs. Actively worked with other members of management, and prioritized breaking through traditional barriers to involve multiple internal segments in decision making processes. As with previous opportunities, I was extremely active as a participant of teams and was viewed as a leader and motivator by all level of employees within the company.
