Representing Bookkeepers at many ATO consultations including Single Touch Payroll and the Strategic Advisory Council for the ABR (Australian Business Register) including the Modernising Business Registers program. A registered tax agent as Director of Addisons Productivity Solutions, a consulting, bookkeeping, accounting software support business.An active role in professional (agents, bookkeepers and consultants) education, seminars and training, connecting the Australian Bookkeeper community with ICB Global to bring The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers to Australia in late 2005. Chartered Accountant in Practice (since 1986) assisting businesses in all things tax, accounting, GST, BAS with an emphasis on assisting to have the BEST BUSINESS PROCESSES using the best technology that is appropriate (which just keeps changing). My history includes: Professional education through public presentations with an emphasis on training for the real world. This includes technical training on behalf of MYOB during the implementation of GST in 1999 and 2000, where we brought a practical business solution to 40,000 attendees at conferences over 18 months.Working extensively with software companies MYOB, Intuit, Reckon and Xero to assist them in working effectively with the professional bookkeeping sector.Specialties: GST, Software accounting solutions, SBR, Bookkeeping businesses processes and development
