• Manage and ensure compliance with all regulatory and company-defined food safety and sanitation standards, systems, procedures, and practices.• Responsible for monitoring and interpreting QC results and producing QC reports for the Director of Quality. • Responsible for analytical product assessment to ensure safety and quality standards are met. • Train QA and Sanitation team members on daily work tasks, Food Safety, Food Defense, and GMPS.• Assist the Director of Quality in maintaining an effective and compliant HACCP program.• Assist with plant regulatory, customer, third-party audits.• Carry our regular hygiene audits and follow up on the reports.• Oversee and assist QA management in the monitoring of company standards and that company policies are strictly adhered to.• Be an active member and play a key role in supporting the Director of Quality.

• Regularly develop and review product information, labels, and packaging material for compliance, accuracy, with regards to Federal and State requirements, kosher and organic regulations, and product specification sheets, also including content, format and regulatory submission including the final review of artwork for 100+ vendors• Responsible for the review of and maintenance of regulatory documentation, including product specifications, ingredient statements, nutritional analysis, organic and kosher certifications, product testing and all other regulatory documents to obtain and sustain product approval• Compile and maintain regulatory documentation, databases and systems to support development of new products, packaging, and labeling• Provide manufacturing support through the management and control of labeling documents, creation, and maintenance of the nutritional software• Coordinate, plan, prepare with supervisors, and review alongside with team members in ensuring labels are approved and up to date within the labeling software so that they can be used immediately without delay for multiple packaging and production facilities throughout the country• Work alongside with VP of Orchard Operations and other QA management during Produce Safety audit with the FDA• Investigate Foreign Material findings and communicate with vendors on preventative action.

• Conduct ten or more, daily, Food Safety Verification, Pre-requisite Walk-Throughs, and/or Process Letter Check audits in the Canning, Kitchen, Assembly, and Packaging areas of the plant to verify and validate CCPs and PCs are being accomplished and in specification.• Coordinate and lead alongside with production supervisors, team leaders, and managers to investigate and respond to food safety and quality concerns throughout the entire facility and set up and follow up on preventive and corrective action.• Conduct seam analysis on the cans being used for production, one to two times per shift.• Perform sensory analysis and ensure critical factors are in specification when performing four finished product evaluations per shift on canned items.• Weekly perform Environmental Management responsibilities including but not limited to: swabbing, pre and post-operational inspection and investigational activities.• Inspect sanitation’s work on Canning Assembly, Kettle Deck, Tofu Rooms, and Dough Rooms to ensure that it meets company and federal standards.
