Cornell Tech is Cornell University's digital and applied technology campus, located in the heart of New York City on Roosevelt Island. Founded in 2012, our campus opened in 2017 and is now home to over 500 master's students, 100 PhD students, and over 80 associated faculty members. The Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute at Cornell Tech, which I also support, includes the Runway Startups Incubator and 100 portfolio companies, valued at $660 million.As Director of Outreach and Alumni Engagement, I develop events, programs, and partnerships that strengthen our community and tie our campus to New York City and the world. I sit on the steering committee of the Cornell Alumni Leadership Conference and created and produced Cornell Tech Fest, a public convening of tech, business, and policy leaders exploring the intersection of tech and society.

Gurus and Griots is an IE University Educator Fellowship that provides a platform for African and diasporic solutions to global challenges. Over the course of a year–long fellowship, Fellows collaborate with IE academic leaders to courses, cases, and lecture series that center African and Afro-descendant expertise for a wide range of audiences, including IE students and alumni, corporate and institutional partners, and academic peers.I co-designed the Fellowship, crafting a curriculum that prepares working professionals to serve as professors and building alliances with University leadership to secure Fellows teaching positions. I led the recruitment and selection committee, identifying five inaugural Fellows from a pool of over 100 global applicants. We hosted two international symposia, one in Madrid and one in conjunction with Cornell University.

From our factories in Tennessee, Mexico, and China we supplied the world's largest retailers: Walmart, Amazon, Target, Costco, and many others on five continents.
