In this part-time position I was responsible for helping customers and selling merchandise, while serving as a role model to my peers. I was responsible for leading sales floor coverage, maintaining a strong selling focus, providing product education, and supporting the store management in all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing routines, and visual presentation. My department of responsibility was an emphasis on visual presentation where I planned company directed visual changes/updates and lead the visual execution process in a timely & effective manner.

I was part of a team that contributed to the advertising, marketing, and sales efforts of the retail location by designing, developing and taking charge of the visual look of the store and its merchandise. As a member of the in-store merchandising team, I executed merchandising strategies by creating and maintaining visual displays in the store windows and on the sales floor. I also contributed to the profitability of the store with the my merchandise handling, replenishment, and inventory control efforts,as well as, the coaching & development around the visual standards to department employees.
