Responsible for end-to-end development of RPG's retail store network, encompassing all real estate and property related projects. Overall management of entire process from network planning, through leasing, design, construction and store opening processes

I was responsible for the creative design, specification, documentation, and project management of retail stores and commercial environments. I liaise closely with my client and key stakeholders within their business to achieve the optimal store design solution, and then directly with shopfitters and contractors to ensure the fitout is executed on time, within budget, and to a high standard. I am a senior member in a team of 12 other interior designers, and strive to ensure that the work they produce is of the highest standard, and always meets our client’s needs. This fast paced and demanding industry requires me to be extremely organised, communicate effectively, and have a high attention to detail. I was appointed Design Manager in charge of a design department of 7 exhibition designers and one graphic designer. Aside from day to day responsibilities as a designer, I was also responsible for implementing strategies to schedule and manage the workloads of designers, managing design processes within the company, implementing and maintaining I.T. systems for designers, and maintaining high standards of creativity and detail in the work outputted from the department.
