Full time summer intern at Sonic Automotive, a Fortune 300 automotive retailing company. Position included immersive training and daily assignments across 7 departments, including internal audit, corporate development, FP&A, procurement, treasury, IT, and financial reporting. Each department provided insight to daily workings and to their overall importance to the company. Within each departmental rotation, interns completed assigned tasks, participated on calls/in meetings, and shadowed employees, including members of the executive team. Teamwork was the common theme, existing between each department working together to achieve strategic business goals. Gained a stronger understanding of how financial and operational reporting, technology advancements and automation, IT, and sales/marketing all play a role in the overall Sonic corporate development.

Worked with team members to serve meals, inventory food items, and operate grill and fryer. Duties included bussing tables and handling cash register.
