My name is Matthew Benjamin, and I am a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor. I am currently undertaking an MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy, at the highly respected Metanoia Institute in London. I have completed the psychotherapeutic counselling diploma at the Institute, and I am a member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and am working towards full accreditation with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I also currently work for St. Joseph’s Hospice, as a bereavement counsellor, and have worked at many other placements in London, seeing clients with a wide range of emotional and mental health-related issues for counselling sessions. These include anxiety, depression, addiction, grief and loss, relationship, work issues, stress, and low self-esteem. I worked in the music industry for over thirty years prior to committing to becoming a professional psychotherapist.
