Deputy NP Continuing Airworthiness for the ExecuJet 'G' Reg fleet and team lead for the UK based CAMO team.Technical Coordinator and NATR for multiple NCC fleet aircraft.

In addition to my Technical Services Engineer roll of ensuring my fleet remain airworthy, I manage a small team of AOG Coordinators. This entails assisting and supporting them in their day to day roll, tracking career progression and maintaining 24/7 coverage.

Ensuring my fleet of business aircraft are managed in a controlled environment. I am responsible for all aspects of maintenance planning both long term and unscheduled AOG events. My roll includes liaising with service providers, clients, crew and the OEMs as well as ensuring the delicate balance between regulatory requirements and customer needs are met.

Aircraft AOG Coordinator in the CAMO department for ExecuJet Aviation Group. Working on the AOG desk my roll is to:- React quickly and efficiently to defects causing the grounding of aircraft.- Having a thorough understanding of aircraft Minimum Equipment Lists, and release aircraft to fly wherever possible.- Liaise with crew and maintenance repair organisations to arrange for defects to be rectified whilst causing minimal impact to the aircraft.- Review AD's and SB's - Authorizing parts, services and labor during maintenance inputs.- Monitor maintenance inputs stay on schedule and provide support to MRO's if required- Creating updated Maintenance Statements and Safety Due Lists- Reviewing CRS documents following maintenance inputs and releasing aircraft under varying authorities including, EASA, FAA, IoM, Guernsey, Bermuda, Cayman, Australia and GCAA

Gulfstream gave me a chance to enhance my skills take on more responsibility. I have a great deal of experience working to different regulatory bodies as well as extensive use of the AMM, AMP, CMP and any customer supplied documents and requirements. This experience helps me ensure all work is performed and in compliance with the correct regulatory authority. I worked closely with my team leads to release aircraft under the MEL to ensure a non-grounding solution is found. I have provided support to the AOG team working flexible hours off site to ensure an aircraft is airworthy.

I joined Marshall Aerospace in 2005 for a 4 year apprenticeship. During my time there I worked on light aircraft, business jets and C130 Hercules. I worked on all areas of the aircraft giving me a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic and fuel systems as well as heavy structural experience. I learned how to accept additional tasks and responsibilities on top of my basic job which would benefit the team and the company. I volunteered to become an apprentice mentor to pass on my knowledge and guide them through their studies.
