The purpose of the role is to support in the preparation, writing and delivery of tenders and reports via data processing and analysis, image screening, quality assurance, data interpretation and provision of costings.

Second, to assist and support the Quality Assurance Manager by providing QA of images analysed by other Image Analysts, species ID QA, production of flight heights, and creation of final shapefiles and figures for reporting.Assistant Ornithology Consultant role description:Be able to carry out ornithology field work competently including the ability to identify the large majority of Britain’s common breeding and wintering bird species by sight and sound and experience in the use of field survey techniques such as vantage point surveys, intertidal counts (e.g. WeBS), territory mapping, transects (e.g. BBS), etc. Once survey data has been collected the Assistant Ornithology Consultant assists the project manager with tabulation of data (results tables and GIS outputs) for inclusion into reports. Organise, undertake and analyse aerial surveys of birds and offshore wildlife predominantly in relation to offshore wind developments. The role required expert knowledge of both UK and International bird and offshore wildlife identification.
