I was responsible for getting new sales accounts from my assigned industry vertical. Specific duties include meeting and exceeding sales targets for the specific territory; fixing up appointments with clients through phone calls or meetings; understanding the customer's requirements and suggesting a product or service accordingly; demonstrating the product and services; convincing the customer; handling objections from the customer; closing the sale and ensuring proper post-sales support; coordinating with other departments; maintaining cordial and long-lasting relationships with customers; retaining existing customer-base; and ensuring premium services to high net-worth or premium customers.

My role involves going into different departments of the business while learning the industry by going to industry events, such as IP Expo and InfoSec. The areas of the business I have been exposed to are; Internal Sales, Renewals, Finance, Resource Management, Human Resources, Order Processing and Logistics.I have spent 9 months of my journey working in Inside Sales. My role here involved working closely with both distribution and vendors to obtain pricing to send out to customers, while also interacting with the end customers on weekly conference calls and daily emails to ensure they are happy with the service they are receiving. I have had exposure to large accounts in the Finance, Government and Enterprise Sectors, understanding how each of the businesses work and how they interact with NTT. Throughout my time in Inside Sales, I have created a number of reports on salesforce.com to help the team create a cleaner forecast for senior management during their forecast sessions.From September 2016 to January 2017 I was working in a quota carrying role with an element of business development. The role is to find new opportunities and companies for the business to work and engage with. During my first month of this role, I brought in three deals and two net new logos to the business. In this role, I have created a number of relationships with some core and emerging vendors in the market place.
