As a dedicated and enthusiastic 5th year student studying a Bachelor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Technology Sydney. I am a passionate problem-solver with a strong interest in infrastructure development and environmental sustainability. I have immersed myself in different areas of civil engineering academically and with professional hands-on experience. Throughout my academic journey, I have delved into the different components of civil and environmental engineering, gaining an understanding of the main principles and concepts of civil engineering. During my studies I have learnt the required technical skills and gained an understanding of what it means to have an engineering mindset to tackle real-world challenges in a professional engineering setting. In addition to my studies, I have had the privilege of gaining practical experience in the professional civil engineering field through two internships in the industry. During my junior internship, I developed skills in paying attention to detail, professional communication and an understanding of the professional civil engineering industry. My experience in geotechnical engineering has provided me with insights into different types of foundations, foundation design, report writing, and site investigation techniques which has further enhanced my knowledge and skill set in civil engineering. As I continue to discover the field of civil engineering, I am committed to continuous learning and professional growth and to seek opportunities to expand my knowledge, enhance my skills and make a positive impact. I am excited to work with and help to improve a team by contributing my skills and eagerness to learn and building knowledge in the professional civil engineering field.
