Started as apprentice Main Roads 1985 as a two way radio mechanic and experienced in broad range electronic/electrical systems and repairs. Skilled in design, installation, maintenence, repair inspections. Projects include Bruce Highway Managed Motorways. This included inspections and verifications for a fibre ring topography along with dedicated hubs and spokes. Once communications complete edge devices such as CCTV, Variable Message Signs, Variable speed signs, detectors were all integrated into TMR operational platforms such as Streams and DvTel. Other projects involving such processes include Coroy to Curra road upgrade, Sunshine Motorway and initial project scope on CR2SM project. I am highly proficient at inspections of ITS as well as a working knowledge AS/NZS 3000 and TMR standards for ITS imaging equipment, communications and many others. I have worked with many ITS companies and have been favorably mentioned. I have Radio mechanic trade certificate, advanced diploma in electronic engineering, blue card, riggers ticket, first aid cert, Austel communications licence. Trained in fibre both sm and mm as well as fitment of connectors
