Encouraging feedback from staff, particularly staff based in other areas of Europe, gives me new ideas for content each week keeping the screens exciting, engaging and motivating for all workers. • Producing a log in MS Excel: Logging staff contact details and other key details, to provide HR with a regularly updated view of staff across all European sites. This will help communication throughout the business run more smoothly, particularly as the business is a relatively new start-up and is therefore lacking in written business processes. I have also received some training to write new business processes. • Organising charity events for the Head Office: Researching local charities and activities that can be enjoyed by all the staff, whilst giving benefit to a good cause. Contacting a number of organisations in order to compile a list of viable opportunities that can be presented to the HR team.• Reviewing the new starter ‘on-boarding’ process: Proof reading and correcting existing new starter material. Researching on-boarding and using my own and others experiences to come up with new ideas for additional new starter material. Creating the approved additional new starter material. • Updating all ID Access cards for existing Head Office staff that do not have a photo-ID card, by identifying the staff, taking photos and organising the new ID cards to be created. This experience has helped me to understand how an office works and how various roles interact and assist in the running of a business. As this is a Head Office for a European Company, the roles in the office cover all aspects from Human Resources, Finance, IT and the Operations teams.
