My most recent grant is from Global Affairs Canada, and is a two-year project at 1.4 million (CAD) focused on alleviating food insecurity among Vietnamese women and children in Lào Cai and Hà Giang. I am highly motivated in the area of development work and consultation, specifically in the area of public health pertaining to maternal and childhood health and malnutrition. I have a well-rounded experience in multi-variate regression and other statistical analysis as well as with the project cycle management. I have five published articles and am the principal author of two. I enjoy both research and development work. I read and speak colloquial Vietnamese and have hosted Vietnamese TV shows. I have implemented research projects done exclusively in Vietnamese and am a creative, cross-disciplinary thinker who works well under pressure.

Country Program Manager
I headed up the design and implementation of public health interventions in rural settings in Northern Vietnam. This project focused primarily on interventions to reduce childhood malnutrition, helminth infection, anemia and educate regarding infant and child feeding practices and high impact public health messaging. I continued to work closely with the Ministry of Health of Vietnam as we were integration principal factor analysis on the causes and proprietors of poor health outcomes. My skill set also indues a strong background in multivariate regression modeling, research grant writing, budgeting, logistic modeling and design and also enjoy people and teams as well.My required duties included; innovative project design, excel budgeting and bookkeeping skills, good public communication skills and design for training, on-time reporting and a strongly motivated personal work ethic.
Research Fellow
I worked as a project manager/research fellow for Ryerson University (Toronto) and lesioned with my office being in the National Institute of Nutrition of Vietnam. The project started a complimentary food factory that purchased local produce from co-ops initiated from substance farmers and the facility fortified the foods with extra vitamins and minerals. The fortified complimentary food is currently being sold locally in areas of high rates of malnutrition and for flood disaster response in 2021.

I consulted to collaborate with researchers and institutions over SE Asia to produce high quality nutrition related research and media messages to influence policy makers and improve health and healthcare and public health related messaging throughout SE Asia. I worked as a research fellow and product development in the National Institute of Nutrition and translated governmental legislature and scientific papers for the Ministry of Health of Vietnam.
