I am currently the Colorado Bridge Inspection Program Leader in the Denver, CO office for HDR, Inc. So far at HDR, I have managed and participated in numerous projects in inspection, analysis, and design of bridges for federal, state, and local agencies. I have extensive experience with in depth/fracture critical bridge/dam inspections including: AKDOT&PF Statewide Bridges (AK), Glen Canyon Dam Bridge (AZ), Navajo Bridge (AZ), Golden Gate Bridge (CA), CalTrans Statewide Bridges (CA), I-74 Suspension Bridge (IA), Clark Memorial Bridge (KY), Fremont Bridge (OR), Steel Bridge (OR), Bonneville Dam (OR), St. John's Bridge (OR), Montana DOT Statewide FC Bridges (MT), Hennepin Ave Bridge (MN), Poplar Street Bridge (MO), Missouri River Bridge (NE), Sarah Mildred Long Bridge (NH), Rio Grande Gorge Bridge (NM), NVDOT Statewide Bridges (NV), Liberty Bridge (PA), Rainbow Bridge (TX), Fred Hartman Bridge (TX), Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge (TX), Clark County Bridges (WA), Shenandoah Bridge (WV), East Huntington Bridge (WV), and Wheeling Suspension Bridge (WV). I am also certified as a SPRAT Level-III Rope Access Supervisor with over 3000 on-rope hours.Bridge analysis projects include: load rating analysis of hundreds of concrete, steel, and timber bridges for the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), Kansas DOT, US Forest Service, Alaska DOT&PF, and Bonneville Power Administration using BRASS, LARSA, and BrR. Lastly, the design projects I have been involved in include: bridge and retaining wall designs for the Port of Vancouver (WA) and Port of Portland (OR), two concept bridge designs for the Oregon Bridge Delivery Partners, worked with the HDR Denver office on the Dowd Junction bridge superstructure design, and completed the full design check for the Dixie Drive NB and SB superstructure design in Utah. In addition, I designed a pedestrian bridge, retaining walls, cantilever signs, sign bridge, and bridge mounted signs for the Sunrise Corridor project for ODOT.

I worked with HDR as a transportation intern over the summer of 2007. I was able to work about 95% in the field as a field engineer, routinely inspecting the construction of the 1.5 mile long Boeckman Rd. extension in Wilsonville, OR. The road consisted of a roadway, multispan bridge, and 48" waterline. Daily notes were taken and field engineering problems were resolved. I had the chance to observe an engineers work on paper turn into reality.

With Yenter Companies, my primary position was to assist the Vice President of the Glenwood Springs, CO office. I was able to gain an extensive knowledge of AutoCAD 2004 with my work in red-line corrections. I was also given the opportunity to help design the roadway on the side of a large cliff, used for oil drillers, in Parachute, CO. With this roadway work, I gained knowledge in surveying and roadway alignment in a particularly tough area of Colorado.
