Once the potential was explored the site evolved into a fully-functioning system that allowed scheduling and invoicing as well as allowing individual instructors to view their personal schedules at the click of a button. Started as part of a programming team that was taking the corporate software offering and improving it as directed by the CEO. Worked into the project manager position to give better direction to the development team. Went back to programming full time because deadline was approaching fast. A co-worker (and fellow SAIT grad) took over the project manager position to enable me to focus on the programming while she managed everything else. The project had met most of it's goals before I left and is now a full fledged offering.

Managed our internal network as well as our web and mail servers while maintained all computers in our office as well for several clients. I prepared and organized documentation related to hosting, networking, organized and documented new network service offered on a Linux platform. I was lead programmer and project team lead on corporate software (ASP & .NET). While project manager I documented development needs, scheduling and delegation of tasks. I tracked testing, software changes, database modification. I was also required to meet with clients to determine specialized needs for custom software.

Began with development in Excel using VBA to manipulate large amounts of data, The success of the project transitioned into a hybrid Access/Excel project to allow interaction with corporate-based data collection software. PHP, MySQL, Linux, Apache, Access, Excel were all necessary components for the multi-staged project.
