Maintain central, controlled supply of classified documents entering/exiting the controlled area of operation. Control access by all visitors entering/exiting the facility through enforcement of proper badge issuance and entry control of the premises. Review documents, media, or hardware to determine proper classification markings in accordance with the Information Security Oversight Office (ISOO), contract(s), or security manuals. Ensure quality assurance checklists are maintained for Temp in/out material, Information Security Media in/out records, and maintain visitor logs. Input controlled media into material databases. Manage dispatch and receipt requirements for inspection purposes. Conduct random inspections of personal holdings entering/exiting secure spaces. Act as focal POC for emergency management, i.e. notifications, evacuations, etc. Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by appropriate management/lead personnel. Maintain proficiency in Industrial Security disciplines to include: Marking Classified Information, Derivative Classification, Transmission and Transportation of Classified Information, Safeguarding Classified Information in the National Industrial Security Program, Protection of Personally Identifiable Information, and Basic Information Security.

Perform the day-to-day protective security functions as specified in daily post and detail orders. Drive the lead vehicle, principal’s vehicle, or follow-vehicle, whenever required in motorcade or similar operations. Drive follow-vehicle and /or acting as response agent. Carry and operate weapons as specified in daily post and detail orders, or upon orders from the detail leader or shift leader. Maintain protective formation position during principal’s walking movement and participate in advance security preparations. Man the security post at principal’s residence or man the Command Post, as required. Serve as a member of an Emergency Response Team/ Quick Reaction Force (ERT/QRF) when assigned.

Served as the Personal Security Officer responsible for protecting the 36th Infantry Division, Division Command Sergeant Major from assassination, kidnapping, injury, and/or embarrassment. Organized the movement security, both ground and air movement, inside and outside the Combat Operations Base. Maintained and planned communications, weapons systems and liaison between the Division Command Sergeant Major’s office and 36th Infantry Division Personal Security Detachment along with other PSD units at different locations. Coordinated all Air Movement Requests/Plans between PSO and other entities involved in the movement process
