In my role as Vice President, Power Development at Entergy, I am responsible for building a project development team focused on delivering competitive power generation and storage projects. I have successfully grown our solar project pipeline to over 3.8GW and currently significantly expanding our gas turbine plant development portfolio. In my role as Director of Power Development at Entergy, I built and led team in developing decarbonization capital projects to meet corporate emission commitments. I oversaw the company's portfolio of utility-scale solar projects, managed commercial negotiations with EPCs and equipment providers, and was responsible for the engineering design and project management of the entire renewables portfolio. I also led the development of the company’s strategy for hydrogen as a form of long duration energy storage, and led the strategy to develop carbon capture at our new and existing power plants.

In my role as Director of Commercial and Support Operations at Entergy, I directed a team responsible for managing a portfolio of ~$1.5B in power agreements, including conventional power plant acquisitions, renewable acquisitions, and power purchase agreements. I ensured that baseline contractual and technical requirements for renewable and conventional plant acquisitions were aligned with industry standards to streamline negotiations and balance costs vs. risks. Additionally, I provided expert testimony to secure regulatory approvals and oversaw settlements of gas, coal, oil, and market power transactions.

In my role as Senior Manager of Project Management at Entergy in The Woodlands, TX, I directed a team overseeing a portfolio of 14 transmission line capital investment programs totaling $700M. I was directly responsible for safety, quality, and financial performance of the portfolio, as well as developing interconnection upgrades for new gas turbine plants. I managed partnerships with EPC and major equipment providers for successful project execution. I drove the creation of all deliverables for the projects in the portfolio required to meet internal project delivery standards, including all budgets, schedules, technical requirements, and risk assessments, from the start of development to operations and closeout.

In my role as Manager of Capital Projects at Entergy, I successfully managed a portfolio of new transmission line projects, totaling over $400M in costs. I led cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of design, engineering, and scheduling activities, while also handling community engagement and regulatory approvals. Additionally, I spearheaded efforts to improve commissioning requirements and contract acquisition strategies.

In my role as Branch Head for the COLUMBIA Class Ballistic Missile Submarine Development Program at Naval Reactors, I was directly responsible for planning and executing the technical design, budget, and schedule for the development program for the Navy’s newest reactor instrumentation and control, electric plant, and first-of-a-kind electric propulsion systems for the COLUMBIA ballistic missile submarine program. I developed contract acquisition strategies for over 35 contracts, managed negotiations, and supervised a large team of government and contractor personnel to maintain on-time and safe execution of an aggressive design and construction schedule. Additionally, I was responsible for final technical design approval the systems under my area, and led the development of a land-based test site for full power testing of the COLUMBIA Class propulsion and electric plant power systems.

In my role as a Lead Engineering Project Manager at Naval Reactors, I led the the technical design, budget, and schedule for teams of contractors responsible for defining system and equipment requirements for the next-generation reactor, propulsion, and electric plants of the COLUMBIA Class submarine and GERALD R. FORD aircraft carrier (over 30 new equipment designs). I served as the electrical lead to the Director of Instrumentation and Control and Naval Reactors Program Director to assess various propulsion plant options for the COLUMBIA Class design. I also served as the organization’s technical expert for next generation fault coordination systems, 13.8kV, 6.9kV, and 450V switchgear, generators, and power conversion equipment utilized in the COLUMBIA and GERALD R. FORD electric plants.

In my role as an Engineering Project Manager at Naval Reactors, I led the technical evaluation of reactor plant manual changes for submarines, ensuring safe and efficient operations. I managed electric plant system interface issues, collaborating with diverse government organizations and stakeholders to improve communication and safety protocols. I also developed and presented engineering design courses for prospective submarine commanding officers and led technical qualification interviews of nuclear trained officers and senior prospective submarine commanding officers.
