Operating Lean TechnicianDΕ΅r Cymru Welsh Water May 2016 - May 2019Wales, United KingdomPrincipal Accountabilities- Working to successfully deliver the Operational lean implementation across the regions.- Liaise with the local in-house team tasked to assist with delivery of Operating Lean through a pre-determined program these individuals will visit sites. By identification of craft and operational resource that can be allocated for periods to facilitate the program of work on site. You will ensure reviews of all and existing work distributed by the Work Planning team and creating new or amended task lists following your site visit. You will need to ensure these are entered in the SAP / AGA system on completion of each site- Through data gathering and audit following visits to site with Production Technicians and the Craft employees β it is expected that the Lean Technician will also use their existing operational knowledge in the analysis of this data and influence the output.- Data gathering is in a form of spreadsheet templates which they will be required to populate following site visits for analysis, producing outputs for change.- Re-design, as required any issues highlighted from the Lean study following data gathering and through analysis of this data. They will work with the area co-ordinators with identification of improvements and resolution of required actions.- Identifying, reporting and resolving shortfalls in process operations, you will also ensure the continuous improvements of the sites in line with Lean principles and be proactive in your approach;- You will work with the Operating Lean processes, ensuring they are adhered to across Production.
