To provide a higher degree of customer satisfaction and deliver results a proposal was put together to transition legacy software development practices. My team and I took a deep dive into our current technology and methodologies to facilitate change; moving towards DevOps practices.Lead team and mentored in migration from Waterfall to Agile methodology. Participated as a leader and developer to introduce a new technology stack (Angular and Spring Boot) in the development process that promotes "12 factor" or "cloud native" applications that will facilitate the agile development process, as well as deployment to AWS using Kubernetes and an improved SDLC.Worked with team to automate AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes and supporting tooling (ElasticSearch, Prometheus, Vault, etc...). Introduced Docker to development practices to provide a maintainable infrastructure for a number of tools such as Sonar, Jenkins, automated testing and Upsource.Using Jira and custom team developed plugins we were able to link unit and functional tests back to user stories. This added complete traceability and additional quality checks into our CI/CD pipeline and SDLC process. Worked closely with top IT consulting firms on RFP's and consulting engagements.
