I love solving problems and building things. I spent the last 2+ years on an exciting startup journey with a small, amazing team. We built really cool stuff for great customers and I am immensely proud of what they accomplished.Outside of that, my career has been marked by a variety of experiences and industries that have shaped me into an expert problem solver, student, and technology enthusiast.Software is one of many means of solving business problems and it's where I'm planted for the foreseeable future.My career started with a short but formative time in the military, as a midshipmen at the US Naval Academy (GO NAVY!). While that career didn't pan out the way I'd hoped, it gave me the drive, discipline, and confidence to pursue future endeavors. Since then, I've done everything from bartending, restaurant management, security, and even building a multi-million dollar call center. Finally, I've spent the last 10 years providing value through data and outstanding software products. Some might see my non-traditional path as an issue, but I think it's given me a superpower of versatility and a "can-do" attitude.
