A better understanding of embryonic cardiac fluid mechanics can help to elucidate mechanisms involved in the development and progression of congenital heart diseases.

Improvements included designing a break system for motors, and minimizing outgassing during pump downs. Worked with ultra high vacuum systems, stepping motors, absolute rotary encoders, AutoCAD, and LabVIEW. Machining experience with CNC, lathe, milling, and 3D Printing.
