A mechanical engineer with a background in particle accelerator design and development at several international research facilities, I worked at the ISIS neutron and muon source in the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory before spending five years at CERN working on the CLIC future collider project. I specialise in finite element analysis, using computational modelling to solve complex challenges, such as the sub-micron alignment of accelerating components.Now, I am using that experience to advance the use of sustainable energy in industrial processes.
