I am an experienced business administrator who has been working in the storage and warehousing sector for the last 5 years. During this time, I have worked across all of the key functions in an SME setting from customer service, up to strategy and planning and everything in between. I came into the sector after deciding on a career change from education to the world of business. My first position was as a trainee Deputy Depot Manager where I had the opportunity to get to grips with all aspects of the day to day running of the organisation. A year later, I was given the chance to run my own depot. Today, I am company director. I have been fortunate to receive exceptional mentoring and training over the last 5 years. As a result, I, alongside some very astute individuals from both within and outside of our organisation, have seen substantial growth of the business, increasing our gross revenue four-fold in that time. Going forward, I am keen to be part of a team with great aims, scope, drive and aspiration to succeed in whatever it is they do. I am proficient in the use of MS Office (excl Publisher) and accounting software (specifically Free Agent). I believe myself to be an effective communicator. This is a result of my current daily duties where I work B2B and with the general public. I have been involved in the process of project planning and execution. This is a skill I am looking to develop further. I am based in the Worcester area.
