Why did I become a financial adviser: 25 Years ago I originally came into this industry to help folks save for retirement. Over time however, I have realized the wealth building power of ownership, and the ability of equities to be a catalyst for that ownership. I am now on a quest to make everyone owners of the American and Global economy. My belief is that “We should not just be consumers—we should all be owners!” Why do people come to work with me: Let’s be honest that investing, saving for retirement and entering the financial markets can be scary and cumbersome. I set out to treat everyone with respect and humbly offer my guidance. I try not to talk down to anyone or talk over folks heads. I make investing simple and love to see folks reach five figure accounts to 6 figure accounts to 7 figure accounts! Those are moments to celebrate! Most of our clients are university faculty and staff, teachers and school administrators. I love to serve folks—and especially those that serve others. We know how the Ohio pension systems (OPERS, STRS, and SERS) work—and how to maximize benefits. I have had many client’s tell me they learn something every time we meet—and that just makes me smile.
